State of North Carolina. May 10, 1780 Act. Twenty Five Dollars. Terra libera Notam Praetii in me posuit....State of North Carolina. May 10, 1780 Act. Twenty Five Dollars. Terra libera Notam Praetii in me posuit. No.3576. Signed by Green Jr. and Coore. Printed on thin laid paper. Typeset face with ornamental borders. Simple pattern back, similar to 1778 notes, with imprint 'Printed by James Davis, 1780'. A second example on thin laid paper of the ''Terra libera...'' motto. Another sharp note that looks Uncirculated at first glance. Choice Extremely Fine. Very light vertical fold and some corner handling. A trifle off center with the note tight on the right and slightly off the paper on the back. Clarke pencil code on the back.
