North Carolina Currency. April 2, 1776 Halifax Issue. One Fourth of a Dollar. Barracuda Vignette....North Carolina Currency. April 2, 1776 Halifax Issue. One Fourth of a Dollar. Barracuda Vignette. No.6461. Signed by Williams and Sumner. Printed on thick laid paper. Small format size. Three border cuts. Another one of the more interesting types on this series. The upper left of the sheet with wide margins at the left and top. Well printed with sharp plate lines on the edges. A very crisp note.

Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Creased, long lower left corner fold and two corner tip creases. Mottled toning, mostly seen from the back and some face surface soling. For the type, a top grade example with no repairs or restorations. Gem Uncirculated is probably not an option on this series making this one of the higher end notes on the condition ladder available on this type to pursue.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
