Monogram FB in Black Script Vignette. No.4196. Signed by Haywood and Webb. Printed on laid paper. Small format size. Three border cuts, 'Death to Counterfeit' at right end. A stunning note quality-wise and well printed. The paper quality is exceptional and this note has escaped much of the usual splits, nicks and other flaws that plague many of these thin laid paper notes. Choice Extremely Fine and boasting the look of a ''new'' note. A long diagonal fold at the right and a narrower diagonal sheet plate impression line at upper left. Both are fairly light. There is a slight jog into the upper right border, but the margins are more than acceptable. A few very fine pinholes. Few thin paper notes are seen this fine.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.

William Haywood was State Treasurer from 1776 to 1826.
