Style similar to September 2, 1775 and March 5, 1776 series. New York Arms at right with elaborate border cuts with ornaments. Ornamental back with typeset text (no vignette or motto). Imprint 'Printed by Samuel Loudon, in the Year M, DCC,LXXVI.' Extremely Fine. Bright, vivid and well margined. Looks new at first glance. Very faint foxing around the back perimeter;
One Eighth of a Dollar or One Shilling New York Currency. No.16519. Signed by M. Adgate and Alex. Webster. Style as last, 'NEW YORK' in top border cut. Back with border cuts, ornaments and small circular vignette of a blazing fire, motto NON DIE. Extremely Fine. A long, double lower right corner fold. Boldly printed and bright. A well matched pairing of the two lowest denominations on the Act. These are notes often seen in Fine or less. 2 pieces.
