Massachusetts State. 1779. Four Shillings & Eight Pence. No.8082. Signed by Brown. Revere and Fleet...Massachusetts State. 1779. Four Shillings & Eight Pence. No.8082. Signed by Brown. Revere and Fleet Rising Sun Note. Printed on rigid, thick stock. 65mm by 76mm. Standard face and back styles for the issue. Vignette at the right, mountain slopes left. A bright and vivid note from the face. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Well centered face and superior plate state. The back is centered well to the left and off the paper partially. Moderate soiling on the back. Lower left corner rounded. Pencil notation at the back upper right corner (appears to be by Chapman).
