Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. August 18, 1775. Seventeen Shillings. No.3315. Payable on August...Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. August 18, 1775. Seventeen Shillings. No.3315. Payable on August 18, 1779. Signed by Wheeler and Sayer. Revere Sword in Hand Note. Printed on thick, coarse stock. 75mm by 99mm. Standard face and back designs. A second Seventeen Shillings with a different payable date. Very Fine, quarter folded moderately. Bold from the face, well printed with uniform toning. Reasonable margins with light face soiling. The crease is partially broken at the sides, each repaired with paper strips on the back edges. Small rust spots on the feet of the patriot. Pencil Boyd code ''ryx'' lower left back. A superior Sword despite the older repairs.
