Maryland. April 10, 1774. Two Dollars or Nine Shillings. No.11174. Signed by W.[illiam] Eddis and...Maryland. April 10, 1774. Two Dollars or Nine Shillings. No.11174. Signed by W.[illiam] Eddis and J.[ohn] Clapham. Printed on sturdy stock. Size and style as previous issue dates. Two Spanish 8 Reale coins vignette protector. Imprint 'Printed by A.C. and F. Green'. An exceptional note on this issue date. Choice Crisp Uncirculated. The major faults (major being a hyperbole) are the close margins, subtle toning and the back being off center to the upper right. However, the exceptional paper quality and its survival for 232 years to this ''30 seconds'' of purchasing opportunity is a testament to Henry Chapman, T. James Clarke, Mr. Boyd and John Ford, Jr. Cast away the catalogue value and bid liberally.

Ex T. James Clarke Collection.
