Georgia. June 8, 1777. Six Dollars in Continental Currency. No.39. Blue seal. Millstone in Palm Tree....Georgia. June 8, 1777. Six Dollars in Continental Currency. No.39. Blue seal. Millstone in Palm Tree. OPPRESSA SURGIT. The ''in'' of the text in black. Signed by Wood, Wylly, Wade and O'Bryen. Printed on laid paper. An unusual note with the seal color a rusted orange or green as opposed to the authorized blue. Hard to say whether this anomaly is oxidation or an unusual seal color formula. Very Fine. An off vertical crease and some adjacent folds. Full width sheet selvege at the right end. The other margins are close, but complete. Some foxing, some at the left and the rest confined to the wide sheet edge. Penciled ''6-'' on the back. An interesting anomaly.
