Georgia. 1777. Eleven Spanish Milled Dollars. No.1282. Blue-Green seal. Floating Jugs. SI COLLIDIMUS FRANGIMUR. Border variety (d). Signed by Andrew, Stone, Saltus, O'Bryen and Ewen. Printed on laid paper, slightly heavier than used on most 1777 issues. A second Eleven Dollars with a different seal variant. About Very Fine. A heavy vertical crease and other folds. Complete margins with wide sheet selvege at the top and right. There is severe foxing at the extreme right selvege end (destined to be trimmed away). There are two internal foxing patches, one on the vertical signatures. The seal is shifted upwards and is average in color and strength. Not exceptional, but a worthy 1777 color seal type.
