Vertical uncut pair with jumbo margins left and bottom. No.50967-50969. Signed by R. Lockwood. Printed on sturdy stock. Small format notes, each approximately 60mm by 80mm. The pair, overall 80mm by 178mm. Elaborate border cuts and State Arms. Wheat sheaf back surrounded with ornamental border. Imprint 'Printed by James Adams, 1777'. A gutter fold just above the border line of the Six Pence. Overall, Choice About Uncirculated with the top note a Superb Gem and the bottom note close to Choice Crisp Uncirculated. The four note multiple from this series brought $2,530.00 in the Ford X Sale in May, 2005. There were no complete sheets of these small size notes in the Ford-Boyd sheet assemblage in the Ford Part VI Sale. A very tough multiple.
