Delaware State. May 1, 1777. Three Pence. No.50968. Signed by R. Lockwood. Printed on sturdy stock. Small format note, approximately 60mm by 80mm. Elaborate border cuts and State Arms. Wheat sheaf back surrounded with ornamental border. Imprint 'Printed by James Adams, 1777'. Jumbo sheet margins at the left and superbly broad at the bottom. About Uncirculated due to some top edge handling. A crease in the bottom wide selvege. Fresh and bold.
