Very Fine. Pen cancels on face and ''Counterfeit'' on the back in pen; Same Issue. Forty Shillings. No.336.
Contemporary Counterfeit. ''Signed'' by [?, faded]. Printed on very thin paper. Also, a rather crude plate compared to the genuine with blurry inking. Not period written ''condemned'' as a counterfeit (which is unusual), but with a light pencil notation on the bottom face to that effect. Very Fine. Some edge slits. These counterfeits are much rarer than the genuine notes of their respective types. Important notes for true specialists of the genre. 3 pieces.
