State of North Carolina. May 10, 1780 Act. Twenty Five Dollars. Dulce pro Patri Mori. No.7002. Signed...State of North Carolina. May 10, 1780 Act. Twenty Five Dollars. Dulce pro Patri Mori. No.7002. Signed by J.[oseph] Green Jr. and J.[oseph] Leech. Printed on thin laid paper. Typeset face with ornamental borders. Simple pattern back, similar to 1778 notes, with imprint 'Printed by J. Davis, 1780'. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Light vertical fold and some heavy handling. Looks new from the face and without many of the common flaws seen on the thinner paper issues. Wide left sheet edge at left.
