Printed on two part stock, the face thin white and the back coarse brown board. Typeset, red banner at top. Black texts with red denomination. Back with Colles' steam operated pump. Imprint 'Printed by H. Gaine' at the left. Crisp Uncirculated and close to Choice. Bold and vivid. Quite sharp with very petty corner rubs; Four Shillings. No.3396. Signed by Wm. Waddell and J.H. Cruger. Printed thinner stock, the back is quite bright for the series. Style as last. Crisp Uncirculated, and nearly Choice. Bold and vivid, but slightly close at the top of the face;
Eight Shillings. No.4379. Signed by Hicks and G. Brewerton. Thinner paper as last, the back is clearly dark brown. Red banner and border ornaments. Wide sheet margins on all sides. Crisp Uncirculated. Bright colors, but trimmed in somewhat. Another lovely trio of high grade notes. 3 pieces.
