Printed on sturdy stock, slightly thinner than the 1767 issue. Size, design and style as 1767 issue. Imprint 'Printed by A. C. and F. Green'. Most notes of this issue are Fine or less. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Very crisp, but a nick on the bottom edge of a hard crease. From the face exceptionally vivid and superior; Half Dollar or Two Shillings Six Pence. No.9200. Signers as last. Very Fine. Light crease and corner crease. Bold and bright, well margined with the look of a ''new'' note. Paper remnants on the top edge. A very useful pairing. 2 pieces.
Anne Catherine Green was the widow of Jonas Green. She got the Colony contracts upon the death of her husband. She was also the printer of The Maryland Gazette. Her period home is now a Bed and Breakfast in Annapolis today. Thousands of pieces of typeset were discovered during excavations around the property.
