State of Georgia. October 16, 1786. Twenty Shillings. No.8569. Signed by Jones, Freeman and Steele. Printed on watermarked paper manufactured by Honig & Zoonen. Georgia Constitution, motto PRO BONO PUBLICO, date '1777' below. Vignette signed 'ABERNATHIE SCULPSIT.' on plinth. Engraved panel at the left. Imprint at the bottom, 'Augusta: Printed by JOHN E. SMITH.' Fine to Very Fine or so. Multiple folds, honest wear and still very sharp for the grade. Lightly toned, more so at the right end. A short bottom split and a small excess piece of paper off the left engraved indent. This would fit well into any collection and is quite affordable for the appealing nature of this type.
