State of Georgia. October 16, 1786. Ten Shillings. No.17210. Signed by Jones, Freeman and Steele. Printed on watermarked paper manufactured by Honig & Zoonen. Larger size format with three signatures, approximately 160mm by 80mm. Georgia Constitution, motto PRO BONO PUBLICO, date '1777' below. Slightly different vignette than other denominations with a tall base on the urn. Vignette signed 'ABERNATHIE SCULPSIT.' on plinth. Engraved panel at the left. Imprint at the bottom, 'Augusta: Printed by JOHN E. SMITH.' Very Fine.
A few vertical and horizontal folds, all light and still very bright and vivid. Well margined on three sides, however the upper right has been shaved in somewhat in a jagged fashion. The technical grade is a bit unfair as the note is still very handsome.
