Georgia. September 10, 1777. Five Dollars in Continental Currency. No.1686. Dark blue seal. Rattlesnake....Georgia. September 10, 1777. Five Dollars in Continental Currency. No.1686. Dark blue seal. Rattlesnake. NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET. Signed by Hohendorf, Chevalier, Wylly, Wade and O'Bryen. Printed on laid paper. Very Fine to Extremely Fine in terms of paper quality. However, with the face appeal of a ''Choice Uncirculated'' note. There are at least seven folds, three clustered vertically at the center, quarter folded with a corner crease. However, none are creased and the paper body is ''Ford-Boyd'' strong. The seal is attractive blue and is a few small ink blots from perfection. Overall, very sharply executed with excellent margins and boldly appealing. Always a popular motif and very handsome.
