South Carolina. March 6, 1776 Resolve. One Pound Fifteen Shillings. No.6423. Signed by T.[homas] Waring...South Carolina. March 6, 1776 Resolve. One Pound Fifteen Shillings. No.6423. Signed by T.[homas] Waring and Russell. Printed on laid paper. Uniface. Typeset, horizontal format note with ornamental frame and left end indent. 94mm by 60mm. Black and orange texts with Hebrew and Greek letters used. Another rare note from the typeset issue in red and black. There were 6,000 notes printed.

This note is superior to the Newman plate note. A choice example. Boldly embossed and colorful. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Light vertical fold and corner crease. Very wide left margin and slightly tight at the right end. Raymond pencil code at upper left back corner. Nearly exceptional for the type and issue.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
