Signed by Samuel Stringer [in red], Jacob Lansing, Jr. and Jacob C. Ten Eyck. Printed on laid paper. Wide format. Uniface, typeset note with left end flourish with ornamental borders. Fine or better. Vertical splitting from the bottom, but not all the way up to the top edge. Backed with paper stripping. Upper right corner rejoined with paper tape and a shaved in upper left corner. However, from the face, a bright and vivid note. An amazing fifth and final denomination on this very rare municipal issue. The first notes from this series we have ever catalogued for sale. An important offering to say the least.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
