 1873 Open 3. MS-61 (NGC). A lustrous, attractive example at this grade level, with better quality than usually seen. The 1866-1876 variety is quite scarce, relatively speaking, as such coins were struck too late to be included in the notable treasure ships that have been recovered. If we were a stockbroker we would recommend this as a "buy," after which you should "hold."
