 1887 Proof-67 (NGC). A satiny and lustrous gem with reflective fields and frosty motifs that are richly toned in rose, gold, and, on the reverse, rich violet and electric blue. From a Proof mintage for the date of 710 pieces, with not very many survivors from that mintage able to "meet or beat" the quality offered here.
