Georgia. June 8, 1777. Six Dollars in Continental Currency. No.63. Blue seal. Millstone on Palm Tree. OPPRESSA SURGIT. The 'in' of the text in red. Signed by Wood, Langworthy, Wylly, Wade and O'Bryen. To the touch, the paper crispness is in exactly the same state it was 228 years ago when printed at the impounded Johnston printing shop. Choice About Uncirculated and superbly impressed. There is a vertical ''bend'' that has not creased and some handling. The blue seal is bold blue with diagnostic blurriness. However, still very striking. The note lacks margining in a few places and as such does not escalate to a ''Gem'' appearance. However, it is so bold and natural looking that this should be downplayed. Exceptional.
