Georgia. June 8, 1777. Two Fifths of a Dollar or Two Shillings-One Half of a Dollar or Two Shillings and Six Pence. A vertical Uncut Pair. Both No.81. Border varieties (a--e). Each signed by Langworthy and Wade. An excellent multiple with full width margining at the top and right ends. As a pair, Extremely Fine. Hard horizontal fold that missed the gutter and is a quarter inch into the top note. The top note has a body hole in the ''Wade'' signature from the ink. Individually, the top note is Very Fine, with the mentioned hole. The bottom note is a grand Choice About Uncirculated. The vertical fold is faint and the margins are complete. This Half Dollar note is one of the finest we have seen. A splendid and desirable multiple. Raymond pencil code at the back upper left corner.
