Georgia. 1776. Ten Shillings. No.2902. Border variety (v). Signed by Houstoun, Habersham, Wylly, Wade and O'Bryen. Along with the One Pound, the largest size note in the series and a typeset set issue. The texts are in red and black. At the left end is 'GEORGIA' and at the top, right, and bottom is 'TEN SHILLINGS', all in bold red. Single top bar in cross. Another large note that saw much circulation and often comes damaged. Very Fine or better. Very crisp and natural. Some minor top edge splits have an old paper strip repair on the top of the back edge. Some ink bleed through at the upper right of the text. There is some other minor foxing. Average margins except at the right which has the full width of its sheet margin still present. Old pencil price on the back '25' (sign us up!).
