STATE OF GEORGIA, ACCUMULATION OF 1862, 1863 AND 1864 NOTES. A large accumulation, with some Criswell number varieties within the types, probably from the New Netherlands/Wayte Raymond holdings at one time. 1862: $5.00 (13). Cr.5; $10.00 (28). Cr.4; $100.00 (8). Cr.1; 1863: 5¢ (3). Cr.19; 10¢ (20). Cr.18; 25¢ (9). Cr.15 types (assorted); 50¢ (8). Cr.14 types (assorted); $10.00 (9). Cr.8; $50.00 (10). Cr.7; $100.00 (2). Cr.6 types (assorted); 1864: $50.00 (22). Cr.22; $100.00 (5). Cr.21. The majority are Uncirculated, with the handling usually seen on these notes. A few circulated pieces here and there. Accumulations such as this are not often seen in this era. The majority of the notes such as this were dispersed during the NASCA era in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Mr. Ford has saved these for decades and they should be enthusiastically received as we are not aware of any similar groups being held by one person at this time. 137 pieces.
