PAPAL - VATICAN CITY. Presentation Case for Pius XII Gold 100 Lire. An attractive 145 x 111mm blue leather case with brass hinges and hasp and gold stamping and piping made circa 1950. The lid is adorned with the Arms of Pope Pius XII -- formerly Eugenio Cardinal Pacelli. Inside on the red velvet interior are 12 fitted openings for the 1939-1950 coins. Intact and well-preserved with a few minute nicks and scuffs. (Est. $40-$60)
