Charioteer driving quadriga l., Nike flying r. above to crown him, branch in ex. Rv. Arethusa head l. hair in ampyx and sphendone, wearing large loop earring and necklace, four dolphins around. This die is known combined with a reverse signed by Eukleidas (Tudeer, Zeit.f.Num., XXX, 1913, 86). 17.11 grams. Boston MFA 419. Once lightly polished. Good Very Fine. (Est. $800-$1,000)
