Making Place Hall Academy Medal, 1858. Silver, hand engraved, 66.9mm. About Uncirculated. Circular, in bezel and grip loop. Obv. Making Place Hall Academy Decr. 1858. Rev. Presented to Mastr. J. Davis For His Services as Foreman of the Jury. This school in Soyland, Ripponden, Yorkshire, was founded by William Dove in 1838 as a boys' college for commercial training, closing in 1880.
