Capricorn r., a cornucopiae on its back, holding a globe attached to a rudder; AVGVSTVS below. RIC 130 (R2). Pleasing pale silver. Well-centered on a full flan with a wonderful aquiline portrait of Augustus. F.D.C., a superb example. (Est. $2,500-$3,500)

Capricorn was the birthsign of Augustus.
