1786 Landscape type. VERMONTENSIUM. R.7 (R-4). About Very Fine. 108.2 grains. Deep maroon-brown, grainy fields surround lighter wheat-brown devices. Three planchet flaws are fairly minor relative to the sometimes severe flaws seen on this type. Unlike many other specimens of this landscape type, however, the Green Mountain scene is essentially complete. A glass reveals ancient fine scratches on obverse devices.
