1785 Landscape type. VERMONTS. R.2 (R-3+). 102.3 grains. Fine or better. Iridescent yellow, rose and blue tones dominate this specimen that was cleaned long ago and has taken on this palette of colors. Strike is decent and the planchet is missing the major flaws that often plague this issue. Surfaces exhibit some graininess as well as some ancient hairlines. Struck from the later obverse die state with die crack through '8' to plow.

Lot # 1877
Hammer Price: $350.00
