1785 Landscape type. VERMONTS. Ryder 2 (R-3+). 102.1 grains. Fine to Very Fine in the right two-thirds of the coin, while the left one-third is very indistinct as a result of planchet roughness in that area. Right parts of the coin are surprisingly smooth and glossy, featuring a rich chestnut brown hue that one could only hope for on one of these Landscapes. Date is about three-fourths on the coin on this popular Vermont copper.
