1783 Nova Constellatio Copper. Blunt Rays. Small US. CONSTELATIO. Cr.3-C. 119.8 grains. About Very Fine. Deep chestnut surfaces display highlights of blue and pale rose, with two lighter golden brown toning bands on the obverse. Generally smooth and a very collectible survivor of this early coin of the United States under the Articles of Confederation.
