Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Halfpenny. Vlack 1-A. 124.2 grains. About Fine. Mostly smooth, medium brown surfaces exhibit ever so faint, microscopic granularity on both faces. Rims have begun to wear into the tops of the letters, but all legends and devices are partially to fully visible. Pale yellow brass splasher is in full evidence beneath the crown, and the edge reeding is weak but visible. A nearly imperceptible wave is noted in the planchet. Scarce.
