 1916 $1.00. McKinley Memorial. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. Here is an absolutely stunning survivor of just 15,000 pieces struck of this issue. The shallowly cut design of McKinley is gently textured, standing out boldly against prooflike fields on this example that is about as well struck as these tiny jewels come. The reverse is similarly attractive, with the lustre in the fields better defined as satiny. Scarce and very desirable in this high quality.
