 1871 Brilliant Uncirculated or somewhat finer, and retaining quite a bit of mint color for a coin within this grade range. The surfaces remain free of any large spots or inordinately unsightly defects. This date is surprisingly challenging to acquire, particularly at the quality level offered here.
