James H. Hyde Four Continents Medal, 1948. Bronze, 89.3mm. By Paul Manship. Choice About Uncirculated. A second example showing a slightly uneven tan-gold patina, offering another incomparable opportunity to acquire this elusive Manship work.

Manship's medallic career spanned much of a century, with such highlights as the 1914 Manhattan Tercentenary Medal for the Circle of Friends of the Medallion, the Wilhelm II Foe of Free Men Medal of World War I and a lifetime later, the 1961 John Fitzgerald Kennedy Inaugural Medal.
