About Uncirculated. Obv. Hispania seated on Pyrennes, Gibraltar at her feet. Rev. Proclamation date 11 Febrero 1873. The Republic succeeded the Provisional Government that replaced Queen Isabel II in September 1868. Lasting from Feb. 11, 1873 to Jan. 3, 1874, it boasted four Presidents: Estanislao Figueras Moragas, Francisco Pi y Margall, Nicolas Salmeron y Alonso and Emilio Castelar y Ripoll. Numismatic relics of this regime are few. (Est. $100-$150)
