Copper bronzed, 51.9mm, 4.5 - 4.8 mm. thick. By Charles Cushing Wright. Uncirculated. Obv. Militant Columbia casts lightning bolts at Mexico City. Rev. New York City Arms, legend honors volunteers. Unnamed. Rare. Possibly struck for collectors after other medals were presented to veterans but from the same dies. Rich mahogany color and very attractive.
