Making Place Hall Academy Medal, 1858. Silver, hand engraved, 66.9mm. About Uncirculated, light handling. Round flan in bezel and grip loop. Obv. Making Place Hall Academy Decr. 1858. Rev. Presented to Mastr. J. Davis For His Services as Foreman of the Jury. Located in Soyland, Ripponden, Yorkshire, this school was founded in 1838 by William Dove as a boys' college for commercial and business training, closing in 1880. (Est. $400-$500)
