Pennsylvania, 149th Volunteer Regiment, the Second Bucktails. White Metal, 30.9mm, holed for suspension. By Joseph Merriam. Obv. Washington head r. Rev. Inscribed to R. McPOST/ ORD. SGT./ 149 REG./ WAR OF/ 1861/ PA. VOL./ COUDERSPORT, PA. Unit was organized at Harrisburg in August, 1862, mustered out on June 24, 1865. K Company hailed from Potter County, Pa. and its battle honors include Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, and Cold Harbor.
