 1909'O' Extremely Fine or essentially so. A balanced, evenly worn example that offers a better overall presentation than that normally encountered for this date. Delicate greenish-golden surfaces still retain traces of frosty mint lustre in the crevasses of the design. The mintmark, as is often the case with coins of this issue, is somewhat weak. The legibility of this mintmark, however, is entirely clear leaving no doubt to its New Orleans origination. One of only 34,200 minted of this extremely scarce and popular issue.
