1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 33.43-hh.2 (R-5). Draped Bust Left. 97.4 gns. About Very Fine. Generally smooth, dark brown surfaces exhibit lighter golden highlights on the devices and legends. The date is full, the face is weak due to planchet roughness in that area. Here is a respectable, well pedigreed specimen of this scarce variety.
Ex Perkins Collection (Stack's, January 1998, lot 301).
