Glossy deep chestnut brown surfaces are boldly lustrous, with hints of ruddy tones in the protected areas. As with so many Draped Bust Left Connecticuts, this coin exhibits a few minor planchet flaws in addition to striking weakness in the centers of both sides. Although not a particularly rare die variety, this coin would make a lovely specimen for inclusion in a Colonial type set.
