MACEDON. Alexander the Great. Tetradrachm, ca. 330-320 B.C. Byblos. Herakles/Zeus and monogram as last, a third. 16.27 grams. Price 3426. A combination of corrosion, deposits and prooflike surfaces similar to the previous two lots, indicating corrosion as part of a hoard, but no circulation wear. Again, the piece could best be described as Very Fine in overall appearance. (Est. $100-$150)
