Duke on horseback l. in solid circle, titles include Posulant Bishop of Halberstadt as well as Duke. Several curious concentric curving lines appear in the field below the horse's nose. Rev. 12-fold Arms, five crests, HONESTUM PRO PATRIA. The small ornamental frame at 6:00 shows no stamped value in this variety. Dav.33a. This massive, irregularly round coin show a somewhat uneven strike as usually seen, but is a handsome and impressive example of the famed Brunswick Multiple Taler coinage. Choice Very Fine.
