Royal Arms in red with red interior frame; the outside border in blue. A beautiful note for this issue and denomination. These have always been severely under collected and undervalued in our opinion. Only 917 examples of this note were printed and this is certainly among the finest. The colors are superb for the grade with vivid contrast. There is some petty soiling on the back and slightly rounded corners that are typical to higher denomination notes on the 1760's era New Jersey Colonial series. For the note, a bold Choice Extremely Fine with many claims to a higher designation.
