Independence Centennial International Exhibition Award Medal, 1876. Copper bronzed, 76.3mm. By Henry Mitchell. Julian AM-10. Extremely Fine. Obv. Seated Liberty extends victor's crown to Science and Industry. Rev. Exhibition and award legend. Patina is deteriorated from handling, housed in a somewhat shaky fitted case.
