Sea fight USS Bonhomme Richard and HMS Serapis. Signature DUPRÉ F. appears on both sides. Deep red mahogany, struck by Paris Mint prior to 1841. This remarkable die state shows a strong obverse rim cud from 8 to 10:00, impinging on legend over NNI PA. An even bolder reverse cud from 8 to 9:30 extends well into the design at the left.
